The Rain Story is an unregistered art studio run by a professional artist and designer based in Pune, India. We specialize in handcrafted original artworks, handprinted paintings, art prints, notebooks made from handmade paper and other recyclable paper.

All products offered on our website are handmade and handprinted by skilled artisans. As such, there may be slight variations in color, texture, and design, which add to the uniqueness and charm of each item. We strive to accurately represent our products through descriptions and images on the website, but please note that the actual product may vary slightly.

Orders and Payment

Placing an order on The Rain Story constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products. Once an order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation acknowledging receipt of your order. All orders are subject to acceptance by us. Payment can be made using the available payment methods listed on the website.

Shipping and Delivery

We aim to process and dispatch orders promptly. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are provided during the checkout process. Please note that delivery times may vary based on location and other factors beyond our control. We are not liable for any delays caused by shipping carriers or unforeseen circumstances. 

1. Shipping Zones: We offer shipping services within India. At present, we do not provide international shipping options.

2. Shipping Costs: We have a minimum shipping cost set for all orders.

3. Shipping Methods and Timelines: We utilise reputable shipping carriers to deliver our art pieces to customers. The estimated delivery timeframes may vary depending on the customer's location. Typically, orders will be processed and dispatched within 1-3 business days from the date of purchase. After shipping, the delivery time may range from 7 to 10 business days, depending on the destination.

4. Packaging: Our art-pieces  are packaged with the utmost care to ensure they arrive at your doorstep in pristine condition. We use high-quality, protective materials to safeguard the artwork during transit.

5. Damaged or Lost Items: If your order arrives damaged or is lost during transit, please inform us within 48 hours of receiving the package. To report any issues, please email us at therainstory.info@gmail.com. We may request photographic evidence of the damage to process your claim efficiently.

Return and Refund 

 

Process: You can initiate a return within 48 hours from the date of delivery. Write us an email at therainstory.info@gmail.com with your concern and images.

Return/Refund Eligibility:

1.  In case you don’t like the ordered item upon receiving, you can initiate return request within 48 hours by writing us at therainstory.info@gmail.com. Upon accepting the request you can initiate the return from your end. Please take care that the art piece must be in its original condition, without any damage or alterations. The customer will be responsible for the return shipping costs. The amount of the product will be refunded and might reflect in your account in few days. 

2.  The personalized or commissioned artworks may not be eligible for returns or refunds unless there is a defect or error on the artist's part. The art piece should be returned in the original packaging or equally secure packaging to prevent damage during transit.
